The Firm Foundation Capital Repair Award provides grants of $5,000 to $100,000 to help active Upper New York United Methodist churches complete major capital repair projects that preserve and strengthen their facilities for ministry. Applications are reviewed quarterly through a detailed process with district input, and emergency funding is available year-round for qualifying urgent repairs.

FIRM FOUNDATION CAPITAL REPAIR AWARD
The Firm Foundation Capital Repair Award is a capital repair grant program established by the Upper New York Annual Conference Board of Trustees to help active United Methodist churches preserve and strengthen their facilities for ministry. Awards, typically ranging from $5,000 to $100,000, support major building repair and improvement projects such as roof replacements, HVAC systems, structural repairs, accessibility upgrades, life-safety systems, stained glass restoration, and other significant capital needs. The program features a detailed application process, with input from District Superintendents and District Boards of Locations and Buildings, and accepts applications on a quarterly funding cycle. In addition to scheduled grant rounds, emergency funding is available year-round for qualifying urgent repair needs.
