COMMUNITY RESILIENCE AND PREPAREDNESS GRANT

The Upper New York Conference's Missional Excellence team is offering Community Resilience and Preparedness Micro-Grants to help local churches strengthen their ability to care for their communities before, during, and after natural disasters, economic hardship, public health emergencies, and other crises. Thirty congregations will receive grants of $500–$1,000 to build on existing ministries and community assets identified through the conference's Asset Map. Applications are due September 15, 2026, with recipients notified in October 2026. This program is funded through a United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) Disaster Preparedness Grant, supporting congregations as they build stronger, more resilient communities through faithful service and preparedness.
