COMMISSION ON
EQUITABLE COMPENSATION

The Commission on Equitable Compensation (CEC) of the Upper New York Annual Conference advocates for fair compensation and benefits for full-time clergy. It recommends minimum compensation standards, administers salary supplement grants, provides advisory resources, and develops arrearage policies to help ensure churches can adequately support their pastors.

SALARY GRANT APPLICATION

Grant funding is available to churches that are not able to meet the minimum salary standards established by the Upper New York Conference. Funding is available in six-month cycles and may cover up to 25% of gross salary costs, not to exceed $5,000.

Because funding is limited, awards are based on factors such as congregational vitality, previous funding, and overall impact.

The deadline to apply is June 22, 2026 for the July-December 2026 cycle.
