The Upper New York Conference is part of the Susquehanna & Upper New York Episcopal Area of The United Methodist Church. You can visit the Susquehanna Conference website here.

MISSION

We make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

VISION

Form disciples, who empowered by the Holy Spirit: love boldly, serve joyfully, and lead courageously, so that lives, communities, and the world are transformed by the healing and liberating love of Jesus Christ. 

PURPOSE

Equip and resource leaders and congregations for impactful ministry and provide a connection for mission beyond the local church.

OUR BISHOP

Bishop Héctor A. Burgos-Núñez has been serving as resident bishop for United Methodists of Upper New York since January 1, 2023. He is the first Hispanic-Latino bishop in the Northeastern Jurisdiction and the first Puerto Rican bishop in The United Methodist Church.​
