Engaging Community with Care: A Trauma-Informed Care Training Series

Join Amy Fleischauer, LMSW, for a three-session training designed to equip church leaders with practical tools for understanding trauma, building meaningful connections, and supporting individuals and communities affected by harm, loss, and disaster.

This training is ideal for church leaders interested in responding to communities following socio-economic or natural disasters. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of trauma and learn strategies for fostering safety, trust, resilience, and healing.

Upon completion of the training, participants may be called upon to support local communities after a socio-economic or natural disaster under the direction of the Conference Disaster Response Coordinator.
