Welcome to the Mountain View District of Upper New York. Visitors to our district can find history at the home of Mark Twain, innovation and beauty created by Corning and showcased at its Glass Museum, and the excitement of Watkins Glen Raceway. Our more than 50 churches are sited among a rich farming landscape. The bounty of the Lord is all around us.

By the grace of God, we are faithful. As United Methodists, our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. Through mission and ministry, our churches seek to reach out beyond our sanctuaries to engage and strengthen those around us – in our neighborhood and across our world. That is a blessed privilege and an awesome responsibility.
