    IRS deadline extended for health coverage mandate form

    The IRS has extended the due date to March 31 for mailing Form 1095-B to individuals for 2015 tax returns. As part of Section 6055: Reporting under the Affordable Care Act, Form 1095-B verifies the "individual mandate" for minimum essential health coverage.     Update: BCBS breech impacts UNY Healthflex members

    On Sept. 9, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBSIL) informed HealthFlex that unauthorized users accessed the Excellus BCBS systems. Click here for more information about the information breech.     On Aug. 5, Excellus BlueCross BlueShield learned that unauthorized users gained access to its systems. Excellus, a member of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association that operates in upstate New York, is a claims processor for Upper New York’s HealthFlex plan.     Jurisdictional bishop count could be reduced in two US jurisdictions

    Golden Cross Sunday offering supports Chaplaincy programs
