    Course of Study Satellite School

The Directors and staff of the Wesley Course of Study program at Wesley Theological Seminary sends regards to everyone and prays that you are safe and well. The Course of Study Program continues to be taught fully on-line due to the travel restrictions caused by the pandemic. We expect this to be the case through the fall of 2021 at a minimum. Registration for spring 2021 weekend courses is still open until February 15, 2021.

We are also releasing the registration form for weekends beginning fall 2021.  You will note that these are also planned for on-line.  If that changes, we will notify the students registered as soon as possible.  We have scheduled all 20 courses during the July program and have all 20 courses scheduled once over the course of the next academic year in the weekend program.

Questions regarding the Course of Study should be sent to Sara Sheppard, Managing Director, ssheppard@wesleyseminary.edu or call 202-885-8688.

    General Information About Courses

    • Minimum enrollment requirement of 6 students per course. Full refunds (including registration fee) will be granted if a course is cancelled because of insufficient enrollment.

    • Course syllabi will be posted on the Wesley Seminary website site approximately 3 months prior to the beginning of each course.

    • Students are expected to acquire books for courses on their own, since there is no bookstore on campus. Normally books can be ordered through Cokesbury or other online resources.  Wesley also uses Blackboard, and on-line learning tool.  You will receive log on information after we receive your first registration.  Please contact the Instructor of the course or the Course of Study office at Wesley Seminary if you have questions.

    • It is expected that a significant portion of the reading, and written assignments, will be completed by the first meeting of class. Please be sure to study the syllabus for each course as soon as it is posted to allow sufficient time for preparation.
