United Methodists of Upper New YorkLiving the Gospel. Being God's Love.

    Vital Congregations

    Welcome

Vital Congregations is a ministry of the Upper New York Conference that comes alongside congregations to help them be places that develop disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. The Hand to Plow process is one strategy this ministry uses to help churches increase their vitality.

Vital congregations are easily recognized. These Spirit-filled, forward-leaning communities of believers grow, both numerically and spiritually, over time. Vital congregations join God in the work that God is already doing. These vital churches have powerful stories, measurable fruitfulness, and life-changing ministries.
