    2015 Mission u weekends announced

    For 2015, the United Methodist Women of the Upper New York Conference will offer three Mission u weekend throughout the summer and early fall, for study and reflection.     UMCOR celebrates 75 years of relief service

    Thank you for your faithful response to the One Great Hour of Sharing offering designated for the fourth Sunday in Lent. This year, the churches of the Upper New York Conference gave $48,846.55 (between Jan. 1 and May 31) to help underwrite the administrative costs of the General Board of Global Ministries and the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR).     Conference introduces new event registration system

    The Upper New York Conference has transitioned to a “simpler” system for event registration. “The new registration system for Upper New York will be fully integrated with our Mission Connect database,” said Stephen Hustedt, Conference Director of Communications. “This will result in better follow-up, better communication, and a better overall experience for attendees.” The new system, called Mission Connect – SignUp, is different from …more
