2023 Annual Conference registration extended to April 30, 2023

April 25, 2023 / By Bishop Hector A. Burgos Nunez

Editor's Note: On April 25, 2023, Upper New York Area Resident Bishop, Héctor A. Burgos Núñez, sent the following letter to the Upper New York Conference.

Dear clergy and laity members of UNY,

Grace and peace from our Savior and friend, Jesus Christ, be with you.

United Methodists of Upper New York will gather in person for the 2023 Annual Conference session in just over a month – June 1-3, 2023, at the Onondaga Community College's SRC Arena in Syracuse, NY.

This will be the first time we gather physically since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

More than 700 people have already registered to participate in the Annual Conference – and we look forward to many more doing so in the coming days. Therefore, we are extending the registration deadline until April 30th.

If you haven’t done so already, please register today here. Please note that to be good stewards of our resources, there will NOT be registration on-site this year.

Pastors, please remember that attendance at the annual conference session is an expectation of our covenant. Also, follow up with your lay member(s) and ensure they register by the extended deadline.

Let’s unite in prayer as we continue to prepare to gather in June for a time of Christian Conferencing - may a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit fill us so that we can continue moving forward the mission with joy, TOGETHER.

    Paz,

     Bishop Héctor A. Burgos Núñez
