We are thrilled to announce that the Rev. Nola Anderson, District Superintendent of the Crossroads and Finger Lakes districts will be the speaker for the Memorial Service at the 2023 Annual Conference Memorial Service at 10:30 a.m. on June 2, 2023, at Onondaga Community College’s SRC Arena in Syracuse, NY.At each Annual Conference, the Memorial Service honors clergy and clergy spouses, as well as Upper New York members who have passed away since the last Annual Conference.

Rev. Anderson is a lifelong Methodist, born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago, West Indies. Answering the call to ministry has led her to serve in Jamaica, Turks and Caicos, Barbados, Trinidad, the Oneonta, Binghamton, and Genesee Valley districts, and currently as District Superintendent of Crossroads and Finger Lakes.

A certified Maxwell coach, and a certified DISC Behavioral Analysis Consultant, Rev. Anderson is passionate about a holistic ministry that helps families and individuals deepen their sense of God’s presence in their midst and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Rev. Anderson is known for her powerful messages. Her message for this year’s Memorial Service is “This is not the end of the story.” She will use the First Corinthians 15:50-57 scripture as the foundation for her message. She recognizes that grief stings and it is a process that never ends, but changes. She wants people to understand that despite the pain of death, there is hope in the resurrection. Death is not the end of the story,
