Youth 2023 in Daytona Beach this July

    December 5, 2022 / By Tony Hipes

Every four years, youth from throughout the United States have gathered at a special event for four days of discipleship, fun, and fellowship. This youth event is always in a different fun-filled spot and is jam-packed with interactive learning, worship, Bible study, service opportunities, and fellowship time. Adults who bring youth to the event can expect inspiration and support. While you are at this event, you will grow closer to God and get many chances to authentically experience what it means to be part of the United Methodist Church.

COVID-19 has made it difficult for youth ministries to remain as strong as they would like, but here is a chance to change that. This is a chance to experience speakers, activities, artists, and to broaden your understanding of the Church that hasn’t been able to occur otherwise.

Youth can meet others from all around the country and learn about different walks of life.  Youth 2023 is open to all who wish to come, so don’t be nervous! If you’re an adult questioning if you want your group to go, you should be excited for this event. There are many unique opportunities, and the experience is like no other.

Youth 2023 is being held in Daytona Beach, Florida from July 25-28 2023. Worship and other activities will be held at the Daytona Ocean Center. Lodging will be in the Hilton OceanFront Resort: and OceanFront really does mean ocean front. The beach is right outside the hotel, with an incredible view.

Registration includes all onsite programming, including worship, concerts, learning, communion, prayer space with The Upper Room, service opportunities, and the chance to connect with exhibitors and agencies from across the faith connection. It also includes lunch and dinner on the 26th and 27th.

If you register before December 30, each member of your attending group (including adults) are eligible for a special scholarship from CCYM. We hope to see you there!  To be eligible, please send a copy of your registration to Tony Hipes (tjhipes@gmail.com) or by mail to 50 Saint Helena Street, Perry, NY  14530.
