Voting at the 2020 UNY Annual Conference
September 1, 2020 / By UNY Communications
As previously published, the 2020 Upper New York (UNY) Annual Conference will be held virtually. Both the clergy session (to take place on Sept. 19) and the Annual Conference session (to take place on Oct. 3) will be livestreamed. Click here to see the agenda.
Those who are eligible to vote must provide a login email and create a password to access the virtual meetings when they register for the clergy session and the full Annual Conference session. You may use the same email and password for each event if you choose.
Both clergy session registrants and eligible voting members for the Annual Conference session will receive a secure login for each event.
Those who are not eligible to vote may view the Oct. 3 UNY Annual Conference via a public livestream on the Conference website.
There are a few steps involved for UNY Conference eligible voting members to be able to vote:
- Once registration is closed, you will receive a secure login link which will serve as your gateway to the virtual meeting.
- Using the email and password you provided when you registered, log into the virtual meeting using the secure login link.
- During the meeting, when an item is presented for a vote, you will be prompted to enter your name as a guest. Your name will not be shown on the screen or used in any way.
- You will then be prompted to vote yes or no.
- You must click on either yes or no to submit your actual vote.
Once voting on an item is completed, Upper New York Area Resident Bishop, Mark J. Webb, will share the results of the vote.
