Welcome to the Genesee Valley District of Upper New York. Our district Genesee Valley District comprises of 75 churches in the Rochester/Genesee Valley region, where there is a United Methodist Church within 5 miles of almost everyone. We invite you to come on over and celebrate with us.

As United Methodists we attempt to live our lives following Jesus' example. Our churches are like gatherings with our extended family of followers of Jesus. Some of our churches are over 200 years old, some are just beginning. Some worship in an energized traditional style, others in an enthusiastic contemporary style; some do both, but all are on a journey. Come join us on the journey.
