    2016 ministry grant announcement

February 23, 2016 / By UNY Communications / .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

The board of directors at the United Methodist Frontier Foundation has announced the initiation of the foundation’s 2016 Rev. Keith Muhleman Ministry Grant. Named in honor of the foundation’s former president and executive director, the grant encourages and supports creative and vital ministry in the local church.

One or more grants totaling $5,000 will be awarded to a local church or churches where initiative, creativity, and commitment to the Gospel is evident in a ministry or program designed to meet an existing or emerging need within the congregation or greater community. The grant may be used either to establish a new ministry or to support an existing ministry, but may not be used simply as an additional revenue source for the church’s operating budget.

Click here for more information and to download the grant application. The completed application must be received by March 25, and the award winner will be announced after the foundation’s board of directors’ meeting in April.
