    NEJ Mission of Peace (MOP)

MISSION OF PEACE is headed to China! From the end of December 2020 through mid-January 2021, spend time in China. Those applying must be either in their high school senior year or younger at the time of the trip.

Click here to download an application. The deadline to register is March 1, 2020.

It's is the hope of the Northeastern Jurisdictional Council on Youth Ministries (NEJ CYM) that each Conference of our NEJ will participate in the MISSION OF PEACE. Please remember that this is a serious and important experience for those who are selected. Each Conference will want to send only the most qualified and responsible people. It is a learning and growing experience for those who are able to deal with differences in countries and cultures in a mature way.

The Northeastern Jurisdictional Council on Youth Ministries encourages each Conference to choose up to four youth to participate on each MOP. This does not mean that each Conference has to send four....just that each Conference may select up to four qualified youth to participate. Suggestions for alternates may be sent. Thank you for making the selection process both compassionate and discerning.
