    Wesleyan Vile-tality Leaders Guide

Learn and explore United Methodist history with your congregation with the new Wesleyan Vile-tality Leaders Guide. The UNY Commission on Archives and History created this guide for small group settings to be used as part of discipleship. It coincides with the 2024 Upper New York Annual Conference learning session where Dr. Ashley Boggan, General Secretary of the General Commission on Archives and History, talked about the importance of reconnecting with our United Methodist roots.

The guide is broken into three sessions and uses portions of Dr. Boggan’s video presentation from annual conference and includes a scripture passage, discussion questions, and a prayer to guide the group. The resource is free and available for download by clicking here.

United Methodists of Upper New York is comprised of a vibrant network of 677 local churches and active new faith communities in 12 districts, covering 48,000 square miles in 49 of the 62 counties in New York state. Our vision is to “live the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to be God’s love with our neighbors in all places."
