    Praise Band Leader at Trinity United Methodist Church of Whitesboro

    Trinity United Methodist Church of Whitesboro is seeking candidates for a paid position as a praise band leader. The job entails approximately five hours a week for planning, collaboration, visual media creation, band practice, and worship service(s). The salary for this position is $125 per week. 

    The ideal candidate will:

    -sense a spiritual calling to serve as a praise band leader to facilitate musical ministry in alignment with the mission of the United Methodist Church.

    -have experience in leading a praise band, vocalists, and musicians.

    -possess a gift as a vocalist. A talent and skill set as an instrumentalist is a plus. 

    -have the ability to recruit, coordinate, and nurture other musicians.

    -possess positive relational skills, willingness and intention to consistently collaborate, and an enthusiastic presence for leading music ministry.

    -be skilled in the use of technology for sound, lighting, computers, visual media, and projection.

    -possess knowledge of all styles and genres of praise music with an emphasis on contemporary praise songs.

    -be committed to ongoing spiritual and professional growth.
