April 3, 2020 / By UNY Communications
Upper New York Area Resident Bishop, Mark J. Webb, is inviting all Upper New York (UNY) Conference clergy and laity to join him in prayer next week.
He said, “In the midst of Holy Week and the reality of the COVID-19 pandemic, I invite clergy and laity to join me for a time of connection and prayer for one another and our world. We know we cannot fix our current reality, but we can go deeper with one another and our God through the practice and promises of prayer.”
Bishop Webb is asking UNY clergy to join him for a time of prayer on Tuesday, April 7 from 9 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
This time will take place by Zoom and clergy will be able to participate online or by calling in. A reminder and instruction on how to connect to the Zoom meeting will be sent to clergy on the morning of Monday, April 6.
Bishop Webb is inviting UNY laity to join him for a time of prayer on Wednesday, April 8 at 7 p.m.
This time will also take place by Zoom and laity will be able to participate online or by calling in. A reminder and instruction on how to connect to the Zoom meeting will be sent to laity on the morning of Tuesday, April 7. Only 500 people will be able to participate live, but the time will be recorded if there is a greater demand.
