UNY Camp & Retreat Ministries Update

February 9, 2022 / By Shannon Hodson / .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

As was announced last week, Skye Farm Camp & Retreat Center has welcomed Robyn Vernon as the new Site Director.

Earlier last month, Ben Mudge transitioned from assistant director to Site Director at Aldersgate Camp & Retreat Center.

Through their consulting practice, Run River Enterprises, former Aldersgate Camp & Retreat Center Directors, Pam Harris and Garrie Stevens, will be coaching and training Ben and Robyn in their new roles.

This month, CRM also welcomed Shari Mudge as the Upper New York (UNY) Conference part-time Camp & Retreat Ministries (CRM) Central Office Administrative Assistant

Shari Mudge has a long history with the UNY Conference CRM. She went to Aldersgate Camp & Retreat Center as a child, worked there as a counselor, and even met her husband, the Rev. Bill Mudge, there!

Shari ended up working her way toward Site Director at Aldersgate, a position she held for four years. And after that time, she remained very connected to the UNY Conference Camp & Retreat Ministries.

All three of Shari and Bill’s children, Ben, Sam, and Hannah, went to Aldersgate and worked there as well.

Shari said,” I am learning how to create reports and use programs like Camp Brain. Everybody at the Conference Office and the site directors have been so helpful.”

As far as summer camp registration, Casowasco’s registration is open; click here to see the available programs and/or to register. CRM summer programs at the other sites will be opening registration soon.  Please check site websites for the latest information.
