    Sessions Team continues work on Annual Conference 2020

    On Tuesday, Dec. 10 the Sessions Team gathered at the United Methodist Center in Liverpool to continue their work of planning for the 2020 session of the Upper New York Annual Conference. They shared both their ongoing work and new tasks that need to be completed to make Annual Conference happen.

    There were several important decisions made, including:

    The special offerings at Annual Conference will include offerings for Mission of Peace, the Upper New York Mission Central HUB, New Faith Communities, the Clergy Care fund, and the Helping Hands fund.

    The fees that cover meals and other amenities for Annual Conference will be Active Clergy Member- $185, Lay Member to Annual Conference- $ 185, Clergy-Retired or on Medical Leave- $95, Equalization Member (At-Large and District-Appointed)- $95, Youth Equalization Member- $10, Clergy Spouse (more than 1 day)- $185, Visitor/Vendor (more than 1 day)- $185, Visitor/Vendor (1 day)- $65, and Youth Visitor- $10.

    Petitions and resolutions will need to be submitted to petitions@unyumc.org by Feb. 3 for inclusion in Vol. 1 of the Upper New York Conference Journal. Items not submitted by this date will only be available on the Annual Conference App and on the Conference website.
