New 2026 Mission Guide and Team Leader Training Now Available
Volunteers in Mission (VIM) is excited to share new and updated resources to support mission teams preparing to serve in 2026. Whether you already know where you will be serving or are still discerning your next mission opportunity, these resources are here to guide and support your mission planning.
New 2026 Mission Guide
Created by the Upper New York Missional Excellence Office, the 2026 Mission Guide highlights a selection of mission sites from the broader VIM project list and provides starter information to help you begin planning your mission journey—whether serving in your local community or beyond. New VIM Team Leader Handbook
This updated handbook is designed to guide team leaders through every stage of planning a mission journey. It is available as a downloadable PDF or for purchase in hard copy here.
Upcoming VIM Team Leader Training
Learn from experienced mission leaders as you prepare for your next mission journey. This training is ideal for both new and returning leaders.

Leaders who complete the training are eligible for a $250 scholarship toward a mission journey in 2026 or 2027.
