    Finger Lakes District welcomes new administrative assistant

    Finger Lakes District Superintendent the Rev. Jeff McDowell is pleased to announce that Pamela Deckard will now serve as the Finger Lake District Administrative Assistant.

    "Pam brings to this work a high level of competence, commitment, and experience," he said. "As a lifelong United Methodist, she understands well the strength of our connection. Pam's interpersonal skills and pleasant demeanor will help support the work of Christ through the churches of the Finger Lakes."

    Deckard has an associate's degree in executive secretarial, a bachelor's degree in sociology, and a master's degree in social work. She previously worked as the district assistant to the Seven Valleys District in the former North Central New York Conference. She lives in Clifton Springs with her husband, the Rev. Steve Deckard, pastor at the Clifton Springs United Methodist Church.
