Enhance your Easter service with Casowasco resources

    April 9, 2020 / By UNY Communications

Casowasco Camp & Retreat Center is first and foremost an extension of and resource to the local church. As congregations venture into uncharted waters during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Casowasco staff is seeking new ways to be in ministry with the churches and congregations of the Upper New York Conference.

With Easter Sunday approaching, they want to help churches enhance their Holy Week experience with a variety of resources, including worship music and telling of the Resurrection Story taped on location at the Lakeside Chapel at Casowasco. It is their hope that sharing the natural beauty of the sunrise over the lake and the grounds of Casowasco will bring a spirit of hope to folks this Easter.

These resources are now available for viewing on YouTube and to be downloaded for inclusion in Easter Sunday services via Google Drive .

Click here for a YouTube playlist that includes Theresa Eggleston, Ministry Assistant at Casowasco, reciting the story of the resurrection---she stands beside the beautiful lake and you can hear bird songs in the background. There are also videos with commentary from the Rev. Bill Mudge, pastor at Baldwinsville First UMC.

Click here to download the videos from Google Drive so that you can incorporate the videos into your Easter service however you wish.

We highly encourage churches to use any and all these videos that they find helpful during this time!
