    Come celebrate ‘Our Legacy’ at UMW annual meeting

    The annual meeting of the Upper New York Conference United Methodist Women will take place Oct. 2-3 at the Centenary United Methodist Church, 345 Main St., Malone. This year’s theme is “Our Legacy.”

    The agenda includes the treasurer’s report, a proposed budget and Pledge to Mission for 2016, election of officers, recognition of outgoing officers, a legacy presentation, and more. In addition to the business portions of the meeting, the event also includes worship, a dinner provided by the United Methodist Men at Centenary UMC, leadership development, and more.

    The cost to attend is $25 for both days or $15 for a single day, and registration is due Sept. 25. Click here to download the registration form. Send the completed registration form to: Melanie Keith, 299 Edwards Road, Wynantskill, N.Y. 12198.

    If you need to stay overnight, the following hotel accommodations in Malone are recommended. Please note, both SUNY Canton and SUNY Potsdam are hosting Parents’ Weekends, so overflow guests are booking into Malone hotels; your early registration is encouraged.
