In a recent video, Upper New York Resident Bishop Mark J. Webb shared the story of how Camp and Retreat Ministries helped to form his faith. He went on to encourage others to engage in Camp and Retreat Ministries.

“There are so many opportunities available in the world in which we live today for children, youth, and adults to experience adventure, relaxation, community, and purpose, but I cannot think of anything more important or any more eternally lasting than a week or weekend spent at a United Methodist camp or retreat center,” Bishop Webb said. “If you have been to camp, I hope you will go back. I you have sent a child to camp, I pray that you will continue to do so. If you have never experienced one of our camp and retreat facilities, let me personally invite you to give it a try … I promise that your life will be transformed.”
