We are looking for positive stories to share about what it means to #BeUMC. If you can take a video of yourself  explaining why you are proud to be a United Methodist, we’d love to share your story. Email us at news@unyumc.org.

The Upper New York Conference is launching our #BeUMC campaign, highlighting clergy and laity in the Conference describing why they love being United Methodist. In a world that desperately needs positive stories, we hope this campaign will uplift you, reminding all of us of the mission of the United Methodist Church.

We launch this program with a video from Bryant Clark, pastor at Oneida: First UMC, Hamilton: Park UMC, and Waterville UMC. To Bryant, United Methodist is more than a church; it is his family.

With more than 100,000 members, United Methodists of Upper New York comprises of more than 675 local churches and New Faith Communities in 12 districts, covering 48,000 square miles in 49 of the 62 counties in New York state. Our vision is to “live the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to be God’s love with our neighbors in all places."
