April 1, 2015 / By Christian Vischi / .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

The Violet’s Garden Task Force is now accepting grant applications. This is a grant program designed to further the spiritual development of children and youth at the local-church level.

Grants are awarded twice per year, in May and November, and congregations can apply for up to $2,000 for these non-recurring, start-up grants.

The application deadline for this round is May 1.

Click here to download the grant application.

For more information or to request a hard copy, contact the Rev. Joellyn Tuttle, Violet's Garden convener, at (315) 289-7187, jrwtuttle@gmail.com, or at Skaneateles UMC, 26 Jordan St., Skaneateles, N.Y. 13152.

Violet's Garden grants are made possible from donations by congregations and individuals to Conference Advance #3075.

These grants were established in 2008 as an expression of appreciation for Bishop Violet L. Fisher's compassion for children and youth.
