    Youth Service Fund (YSF)

The Youth Service Fund is a commitment made by United Methodist Youth to serve those in need in their own communities, across the United States, and around the world. Our goal is to offer assistance and seed money to Youth Groups or Youth organizations who are in mission to other Youth.

Bishop Mark Webb has asked that every church help raise money for the YSF by contributing $1 for every member. Wouldn't we be able to do amazing youth ministries if, in addition to the t-shirts and candy bars we sell at CCYM events, every church contributed $1 for every member every year? You could be the next church to step up and support the YSF!

If you want to apply for funds, the UNY CCYM asks that you submit your application and any supporting materials for consideration to the YSF Committee. The YSF Committee generally meets in June, September, November, and January.

The UNY Conference Council on Youth Ministries asks that you submit your application and any supporting materials for consideration to the YSF Committee. The YSF Committee generally meets in June, September, November, and March.

If your mission project is selected we request that you share the story of your ministry by:

Sending the CCYM a letter of progress before your mission trip or experience.
Sending the CCYM a report sharing your experiences and accomplishments upon completion of the ministry. We welcome and encourage any photos which might help us to promote and excite others about Youth in mission.
