2019 Mohawk Valley Disaster Recovery
On October 31, 2019 a rain storm flooded parts of the Mohawk Valley. The storm lasted over 36 hours. The resulting rain and lack of runoff abilities resulted in massive flooding challenges within 12 counties. After 72 days, the first step in recovery (ERT) finished.
The next step started to organize the Long Term Recovery Process (LTR). This process may take six to eight months to complete. Teams are being scheduled to support the survivors' request. Please use the following links to obtain the necessary forms:
