Team Leader Training

Are you interested in leading a mission journey in your community or beyond? Join us for the UMVIM Team Leader Training on October 5 at the Upper New York Conference Center in Liverpool, NY. This intensive session, led by Ray Yarnell, NEJ Volunteers-in-Mission Coordinator, is designed for both new and seasoned mission leaders in the local church.

- Types of Mission Service
- What to Expect Before, During, and After Your Journey
By attending, you'll gain invaluable skills and insights to effectively lead mission trips, whether locally or internationally. Lunch and all training materials are provided. Early bird registration is $15 until August 31. After that, the price increases to $25.

Are you looking for a day of rejuvenation and renewal? Join us for the Preachers: Rest. Work. Play Fall Retreat on Monday, September 30, from 10 am – 4 pm at Sky Lake Camp & Retreat Center in Windsor, NY.
This retreat offers a blend of activities designed to nourish both body and soul. Enjoy open periods for play, physical rest, silent reflection, and creative crafting. Engage in journaling, small group discussions, and personal reflection, or simply take a leisurely walk and relax in the beautiful surroundings.

UNY Greenhouse Day

UNY Greenhouse Day is a one-day event on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the United Methodist Center in Liverpool. Hosted by Upper New York's (UNY) New Faith Communities' Initiative, it's open to all Upper New York churches, pastors, and individuals interested in innovation, imagination, and seeding new ideas in ministry.
