Hand to Plow is not a program of the Annual Conference, it is a process being employed by the Annual Conference to come alongside local congregations to help them make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
Each year in January Phase One will begin. This means that if a local congregation is not ready this year, they can begin in a year. Also every attempt is being made to accommodate the multiple outcomes of the first year. While some congregations will be selected for consultation, phase two, others will not be ready for that step. There will be a continuance of peer learning groups for as many years as is helpful to local congregations.
