Harry Potter and Spiritual Values

The Harry Potter Phenomenon has spoken powerfully to children of all ages. Investigate the moral events and their implications through the Harry Potter story. The course takes one to one-and-a-half hours.

Christian Music and Puppetry

This event will combine music and puppetry to “make a joyful noise to the Lord.” It is suitable for congregations and children, to “liven up” morning worship and children’s time in church.

A Taste of Taizé

Through meditation and music, scripture and silence, experience worship in the style of the Taizé community. Founded in the middle of World War II, this community has practiced peace and revived the Christian faith for millions of believers worldwide. Participants will learn a bit of the Taizé history and explore this contemplative form of Christian Worship. The course takes between one-and-a-half and two hours.

Liturgical Dance

Movement and dance provide us with a powerful way to offer our praise and our selves to God. Participants will be introduced to the experience and choreography of liturgical dance, both for worship celebrations and personal discipline. The course lasts one-and-a-half to three hours.

Biblical Storytelling

“I love to tell the story,” we say, but what does it mean to tell the Biblical story in a way that communicates life and faith? This workshop will teach you the first steps in how to do Biblical storytelling.
