Upper New York Annual Conference leadership training

The Upper New York Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church held a training session for the leadership in the new conference Saturday, July 10, 2010 at the Baldwinsville UMC in Baldwinsville. In attendance were Committee Team chairpersons while transition consultant, the Rev. Gil Rendle, was the speaker. The purpose of the gathering was to talk about the role and expectations of a conference team chairperson and the role and expectations of an executive staff person. Resident Bishop Marcus Matthews and the four senior executive staff persons, Director of Connectional Ministries Rev. Bill Gottschalk-Fielding, Director of Communications Rev. Maidstone Mulenga, Treasurer and Director of Administrative Services Ms. Sherri Mackey, and Benefits Officer Ms. Vicki Putney were resources for that conversation.
