Staff/Pastor Parish Relations Committee Training: Members of Staff/Parish Relations Committees are invited to meet with Rev. Sweet on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the Potsdam UMC to learn more about our ministry together. We'll gather at 9:30 a.m. and share what it means to be in covenant with the congregation, the pastor, and the Conference. We'll talk about what to expect when there needs to be a pastoral change, how to work out disagreements, how to support the pastor, and how to use those compensation forms!! The meeting should last about two hours and, in case the weather is nasty, we've reserved February 4 as a snow date! Mark the date on your calendar. Experienced and new S/PPR Committee members are all encouraged to come.
