April 5, 2018 / By Beth Holdridge / .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

“The Life and Thought of Charles Wesley,” (CF-200) is being offered at Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School in Rochester as a one week course running June 11-15. The course will be taught by Rev. John Tyson (former pastor in Niagara Frontier District) who has written four books and more than two dozen scholarly articles on Charles Wesley, and is considered an internationally known expert in this field. It is an in-depth study of Charles, “the other Wesley,” who was a major contributor and shaper of the Wesleyan tradition – in terms of his evangelism, hymns, and the challenges of living a happily married life in the midst of the relentless demands of ministry. Particular attention will be paid to the on-going relevance of his work for contemporary Christian practitioners in the Wesleyan theological tradition. If interested, you may contact Andrea Mason, Registrar, at amason@crcds.edu.
